PROFESSION PREPARATION ROUTE
Preparation route for customer service

Practise understanding a problem, responding within scope and leaving a clear handover note.
Service context
- Separate channels, shift details and escalation questions in the listing.
- Distinguish resolving a query from passing it to another team.
- Ask what information access the work requires.
Response structure
- First restate the problem you understood in your own words.
- Ask one clear question for missing detail; avoid unnecessary personal data.
- Do not promise an unknown processing time or outcome.
Real example
- Describe your action and its limits in a difficult conversation.
- Do not share customer names, phones, account details or private messages.
- State the next step rather than hiding an unresolved issue.
Handover note
- Summarise a fictional query by status, checks and remaining question.
- Identify the team or role responsible for the decision.
- Label the note as an exercise rather than a real customer record.
