PROFESSION PREPARATION ROUTE
A preparation file for cyber security

Show defensive reasoning, how you record uncertainty and how you communicate findings.
Separate the listing
- Separate monitoring, analysis, reporting and coordination tasks.
- Ask what authorisation and working scope are expected.
- Distinguish tool-learning experience from production responsibility.
Shareable evidence
- Use fictional, public or explicitly permitted examples only.
- Label observations, assumptions and unconfirmed information separately.
- Do not include real organisational data, passwords or access keys in a portfolio.
Communication rehearsal
- How would you explain what is known and still unknown in an event summary?
- Which business-impact question relates to a technical finding?
- How would you clarify whom to consult outside your authority?
Small exercise
- Organise sample event cards by clarity and missing information.
- Write what additional information you need without claiming an attack is proven.
- Label the deliverable a research note rather than a verified incident conclusion.
