PROFESSION PREPARATION ROUTE
A preparation file for hotel operations

Explain guest communication, team handover and operations notes without inventing achievements.
Research the role
- Read front-desk, reservation, guest-service and management tasks separately.
- Record language, shift and scope unknowns as research questions.
- Do not assume accommodation or support where terms are unclear.
Show experience
- Describe a service example without names or booking details.
- Separate your action from the team’s contribution.
- Do not label an unresolved request a success; explain the handover instead.
Interview communication
- What would you clarify in an ambiguous guest request?
- How would you separate completed and pending work at handover?
- How would you pass on a request outside your authority?
Weekly exercise
- Organise fictional requests by status and follow-up question.
- Write a short handover note and two clarification questions.
- Do not present the file as real hotel performance or a service standard.
