Review your job-search week in ten minutes

Bring together concrete learning from the week instead of treating more applications as the only form of progress.
Count work completed
List work you control: tailored CVs, reviewed adverts, practice sessions and feedback. Do not count an automated email response as an interview. State when you have little data.
Choose one bottleneck
Ask where you struggled most: finding target roles, explaining experience, language fluency or following up. Do not try to fix everything at once. Separate your observation from the interpretation you make of it.
Turn next week into a small experiment
Choose a change you can observe, such as revising one project bullet or practising two real questions. A week’s results do not measure the whole job market or your personal value; conditions change and samples are limited.
Turn reading into an output
- Write three pieces of work completed last week.
- Separate observation and interpretation for one bottleneck.
- Choose one small experiment for next week.
